ऑस्ट्रेलियातील सर्वात मोठे शहर असलेल्या सिडनीतील एका चॉकलेट आणि कॉफी कॅफेमध्ये सशस्त्र हल्लेखोराने सुमारे 50 जणांना ओलीस धरले आहेत. या 50 जणांनपैकी एका भारतीयाचाही समावेश असल्याची माहिती नगरविकासमंत्री व्यंकय्या नायडू यांनी दिली आहे. या ओलीसनाट्याने सिडनीत एकच घबराट पसरली आहे. हल्लेखोरांच्या कचाट्यातून केवळ पाच जणांना  निसटण्यात यशस्वी झाले असून बाकी सर्वांचे जीव धोक्यात आहे.
