पाकिस्तानात आजचा दिवस सन्नाटा पसरलाय असं म्हटल्यास वावगं ठरू नये. संपूर्ण पाकिस्तानात शोककळा पसरलीये. पेशावरमध्ये बंद पाळण्यात येतोय. सर्व शाळा, बाजारपेठा बंद आहेत. लोक गटगटानं जमून घटनेची चर्चा करत आहेत. लोक फारसे घराबाहेर पडत नाहीये. जे लोक बाहेर पडलेत, ते वर्तमानपत्रातल्या बातम्या वाचून त्याविषयी दुःख व्यक्त करताहेत. मारल्या गेलेल्या मुलांचा काय दोष होता, हा प्रश्न वारंवार विचारला जातोय. पाकिस्तानात तीन दिवसांचा दुखवटा पाळण्यात येतोय. काल रात्रीपासून मृत मुलांवर दफनविधी सुरू आहेत. लहानग्यांना या अवस्थेत पाहून त्यांच्या आप्तेष्टांना शोक आवरत नाहीये.
